Day 25

Howdy folks!

We got some really good news today. Zachary had another ultrasound of his brain yesterday to check on the bleeding. While the side with the grade three bleed remains the same (which is good news), the side that had the grade two bleed has been downgraded to a grade one! WHOO HOO! Yeay little Zachary!

Zachary had one of those days that we all have when we just don't want to be messed with. We totally understood and tried our best to watch him, but not touch him (too much) as it just seemed to make him upset. By the end of the evening he was back to allowing us to hold his hand (with a finger) and when we left this evening, he was sleeping comfortably.

Here's a picture of Zachary holding Mommy's finger (taken some other night...I can't remember which one, all the days are starting to run together...)

Little does he know that the nurse told us that if she is his nurse tomorrow night, she's going to let Mommy give him another bath...stay tuned!!

In the meantime, love to all!!!

That is wonderful news. Hopefully, the grade three will also downgrade & the grade one will soon be gone! I will pray for that.

Litttle one must have just been tired yesterday & wanted just to sleep...I don't blame him as he is working so hard to become so strong & needs his rest too. It;s good of you to recognize already what he needs & when he needs it & accomodate him. He may not love that bath tonight, but go for it! It'll be wonderful BONDING TIME for you.

Keep us posted!
We love & pray for you :)

Hi Kim, Stephen and Zachary!

What wonderful news on your web site today. I really enjoy reading all about the Baldwin Family, especially precious little Zachary! He is such a sweet boy! You all look SO SO happy together. He is growing nicely, and before you know it, he will be able to come home. All his test results are very good! We are very pleased about that. Remember that you are all in our thoughts and in our prayers. We say prayers for little Zachary every Friday night when we are attending services. We are glad that Kim is finally feeling better and that you are able to fit back into your regular pants! That is really wonderful news! The new pictures of Zachary are so adorable. He is such a handsome little boy! Take care and I look forward to reading more about the Baldwin Family on the internet.
Our love, Aunt Sharon & Uncle Arnie
