Our Little Cookie Monster!

Hi Folks!

Not much new here, just wanted to show some new pictures of our little cookie monster!

Congratulations to Stephen's nephew Eric and his wife Jennifer on their new baby Sadie! (Check out their blog, the link is over there -----> under JenEric). We can't wait to meet Sadie and Carter, who is Stephen's newphew Troy (and Eric's brother) and his wife's baby boy! Check out their blog, the link is over there too -----> under The Thomson Crew). Yay for more cousins for Zachary!

It looks like Zachary is ready to blow a horn
at his birthday parties next month!

Making up for lost time - new pictures and videos!

Well folks -

It's been a busy couple of weeks.

Cousin James and Crystal came over a couple of weekends ago and we headed out to Galveston and showed Zachary what (brown) water looks like...we'll show him the pretty Pacific this summer...

Last week Zachary had his first illness and first trip to the Emergency Room at Texas Childrens Hospital. Zachary had
Bronchiolitis which is caused by a virus, thankfully it was not caused by RSV (he gets shots to help prevent RSV). He had really bad asthma with his illness and a loose cough, low grade fever and a runny nose. He was working really hard to breathe so he saw Dr. Gray last Tuesday and then he got worse so we called Dr. Gray on Tuesday night and she sent us to the ER. He now has a nebulizer and a puffer to use as needed. He was on steroids and is doing much better now. He saw Dr. Gray today and he grinned and flirted with her like usual. PHEW!

Gamma Marla came to town this weekend (for a scheduled visit, not because he was sick) and we had a great low-key weekend. Zachary got lots of TLC! On Saturday we had a surprise birthday party for Cousin Ashton's ninth birthday. He was so surprised and we all had a great time!

New tricks: reaching for people, crying when Mommy or Daddy leave the room, playing better independently, beating on his new toy drum (with both hands), going from a sitting to a laying position. Lots of new tricks!

That's the news for the week. Here are LOTS of pictures and videos to make up for lost time. Enjoy!

(Remember you can click on each picture to make it larger.)

Zachary loves his teething biscuits
