Hello folks!
Well this morning Mommy and Daddy got a wake up call at 6:45 a.m. saying that Zachary has been physically moved to NICU Level II. What a great way to start the day! So we got up, got ready and went to visit our big boy.
When we got there, we were escorted to Nursery B and found our boy snoozing. We noticed that today, for the first time, he was wearing clothes! He had a preemie t-shirt on that the hospital supplied. Boy was it big on him and it was sized for a preemie too! He now weighs 3 pounds, 13.4 ounces! Mommy held him for almost an hour and then the nurse asked if she wanted to feed him his daily bottle. Boy did she! He was sleepy and we had to wake him up a bit in order for him to suck the bottle, but he finished 32 mls in 20 minutes! That's our big boy!
On Wednesday afternoons we got to a support/education meeting for NICU parents. Today's topic was by one of Zachary's doctors about medical issues and prevention of same once we leave the NICU. It was very informative and it was great to see some of our friends. Stephen will continue to go to these meetings once Kim goes back to work (except there is one Wednesday a month where the meeting is at night, Kim will go to that one too).

he's looking real good. both his mommy and daddy should be proud of themselves as well as baby zack. he's got really nice blonde hair, looks like he'll be a surfer. narly.... can't wait for him go home w/ you guys. take it easy and keep the posts coming.
Wonderful news! keep it coming...I'll bet he looked cute in his clothes, and before you know it, he will grow in to them, then grow out of them! Glad to hear things are going well. Still thinking and praying for all of you!
Sniff....sniff....so happy for you guys and so sad at the same time to see Z go "uptown". Since Brinson is about 5 weeks behind him, I'd remind you to save us a spot for her but i am sure Z will already have gone home by then! Love you all! Goooooo Zachary Goooooo!!!

Wow, what wonderful news today! Congratulations to Mr. Zachary on being moved to NICU II. That is simply terrific. We loved all the pictures and the video. It's amazing to see that he is now taking a bottle and doing so well. It's also amazing to see how much he has grown from the first picture to today's picture. Wow, that is really something. He is so precious and such a beautiful little boy! I know that you are very proud of him, as are we. You are always in our thoughts and in our prayers. We will say prayers for Zachary tonight at Temple as we do every Friday night. He is doing so well! We wish you all a very happy and healthy Passover!
