You Are Never Too Young For Air Hockey!

Hi Folks!

About a month ago, we went to Zachary's cousin Lauren's third birthday party at a bounce house in Deer Park. Zachary had a great time bouncing around and playing air-hockey. Sorry, the bounce videos are WAY WAY WAY too embarrassing for Mommy so we aren't posing them -but here are the pictures, enjoy!

Our big boy is 2!!

Happy birthday Zachary!

Our big boy turns 2 today! Two years ago Zachary was born at 27 weeks gestation, weighing 1 pound 14 and 1/2 ounces and measuring 13 and 3/8 inches long. After a three month stint in the NICU (a HUGE shout out to the nurses, doctors, therapists and nursing assistants at The Women's Hospital of Texas and to Dr. Pinell and his staff) he came home to us and has continued his miraculous journey. At last count he was 30 inches tall and weighs 19 pounds, 7 ounces and is blessed with no lingering effects from his prematurity other than his size and lack of appetite (i.e., not gaining weight).

P.S. Today our friend Noah (and his folks) will get to meet the newest addition to their family! Congratulations Laura and Sami and Noah...we can't wait to meet your new baby girl. We love that she will share Zachary's birthday!

Zachary's 2nd Birthday Party

Hi folks!



Last weekend we had a birthday party for Zachary's second birthday. While Zachary doesn't turn two until February 23rd, we took advantage of Gamma Marla being in town and threw his party early. We couldn't have asked for better weather, which was good because a lot of friends and family came over to celebrate the occassion and we were able to let the kiddos play outside!
